Barry Hall is a four-star historic manor house near popular Sea Point with four spacious self-catering apartments and a garden cottage. Set in a quiet suburban street in Fresnaye, it offers the perfect base for a great stay in Cape Town as it′s close to the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, the V&A Waterfront and the city centre (all ten minutes away). It′s also adjacent to Sea Point′s Main Road with its numerous shops and restaurants.

The turn-of-the-century building with its contemporary Scandinavian decor, combined with all modern conveniences makes this a favourite establishment to which our guests′ return time and again.


Self catering at Barry Hall is easy. There′s a Chinese take away at the end of the road and Woolworths, an excellent food store, is less than five minutes walk away. Our friendly housekeepers service the apartment daily, weekdays, giving you more time to enjoy all the exciting activities Cape Town has to offer.

If a day of rest is needed, our intimate courtyard garden with tables and chairs for alfresco dining is readily equipped for relaxation and a barbeque or braai, and the vine-covered wooden pergola provides shade on a hot summer′s day.

Our staff will also do the laundry at a nominal cost. Hairdryers and private safes are in each apartment and bathrobes are provided for bedrooms not en suite to their bathrooms. Internet is free  and in  each apartment. Parking is free, secure and off-street behind electric gates for 4 cars.
